Homestead High School

The varsity softball team traveled to Dekalb and picked up the road W with a 10-4 victory. Ava Mejia was the winning pitcher for Homestead. She allowed five hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out 12. The team tallied 11 hits. Kira Vorpahl, Claire Landrigan, and Ava Mejia all managed to collect multiple hits.
